Hello my fellow humans! It has been quite some time since we last chatted and so much has happened. First, I would like to say that summer is almost over! Hooray! I don’t know why you humans like the season of summer. It’s hot and sticky and just downright unpleasant. I personally prefer autumn and the aroma it fills the air with. While the seasons have started to change, OPA students and faculty have accomplished a lot! Two weeks ago we had our big performance. I hope you were there! It was outstanding and inspired me to buy a sword. Not only did our students perform, but they have also started working on pieces for the upcoming seasons such as Halloween and Christmas. The level threes and fours are working on their YAGP pieces as well. Man, do we have a lot coming up!
Just to inform you of some important days, September 20 is National Dance Day! Not only is it National Dance Day, but it’s also Pepperoni Pizza Day! Who would’ve guessed that Dance Day would fall on Pepperoni Pizza Day? That’s definitely not a duo I would ever see.
Sadly, this year I will not be hibernating as long as usual. Keeping up with these dancers’ schedules takes up too much of my time! Well, until next time! I will stay in touch with more to update you on OPA and upcoming events.
