I Can Hear the School Bell

 

 

 

     Well, hello again, my fellow readers! It has been quite some time since I last wrote to you all. Life has been a little crazy for me and my humid fur. Lately, my job has been welcoming the kids for the new season. Nothing like the illuminating sound of music, am I right? But to address my recent absence, it’s technical difficulties on our website that have rudely interfered with my weekly blogs. To be honest, I am not really a tech-savvy bear; I mostly just inspire others with my brains instead. I hope nobody missed me too much while I was gone though. I feared you all began to think I intentionally left you out of my circle. Now! I’ll catch you up to date over everything you’ve missed.

     Starting off strong, Allenato has been working very hard in the studios preparing for their upcoming September performance. Boy, am I thrilled to watch them! The beginning of a new season always means fresh energy and heavy choreo chunks. All of this and the start of school! It can be super challenging, and of course the kids aren’t too happy about school being their future for the next nine months. I never had to go to school; some say it’s because I’m a bear, but I know it’s because my high intelligence is too great to be contained. Whatever the case, the school year seems to move by super quickly, along with everything else! I would recommend planning your attendance for the Allenato performance right now. Of course, more information will be sent out regarding the performance but in the meantime, clear your calendars folks!              

    Continuing with good news, regular classes have also begun for open students. The great thing about having multiple programs here at OPA is that we all are a part of one community. In bear terminology, everyone at OPA would be members of a sloth. But I know I’m the only bear here, so much of my knowledge is not very important to you humans. However, I do know of some National Holidays you might find worth celebrating: National Beach Day on August 30th, National Lazy Mom’s Day on September 4th, and National Tailgating Day on September 5th. I’ve pretty much got you humans figured out. If there is food or relaxation involved, you will love it. Now that is what I respect the most about humans! Well, ironically it’s time for me to eat!
